![]() The whole school would like to wish Úna O'Farrell all the best when she lines out for Tipperary Ladies footballers against Limerick this weekend. Well done Úna, well deserved!! Thiobraid Árann abú Hurling trainingToday is the last day of hurling training this academic year. Mark Keane has worked fantastically with all of the children in STT. From the Infants to Sixth class, each child mastered the essential skills of hurling. The older classes fully embraced the chance to refine their skills and play competitive matches. Take a look at some of the pictures of our talented Junior Infants striking and attacking the sliotar during training. Children will begin football training next week. 5th and 6th class were very fortunate to take part in a cycling skills course hosted by member of the Carrick on Suir Cycling club. The children learned about how to be safe on the bike when starting and stopping. They also learned specific hand signals that are necessary for safe cycling on the roads. Hope this specialised skills class will make the children aware of the importance of wearing helmets and taking care on public roads.
