First and Second class investigated how different objects float and sink. The used test objects such as oranges, bananas and play doh to explore why objects float or sink. Everyone had great using the test objects and playing with the water.
Once all the investigations were over children then started to investigate how they could create a boat like object made from Play Doh that could float in water and carry passengers(cubes). The children were excellent at predicting the outcomes of the experiments. They also carefully recorded their results.
