The students of STT will dress up in their brightest colours tomorrow for Daffodil day. A small donation would be greatly appreciated on the day. All proceeds will be donated to the Irish Cancer Society.
Junior Infants have been very busy this week. They were working in a supermarket, making shopping lists, building lego furniture and training to be baristas and beverage connoisseurs.
Take a look at the images below to see some of the amazing work completed including many lego super markets.

St. Patrick's Day
On Monday our school celebrated the Happy Days St. Patrick's day, we marched up the village dressed in an array of green white and gold. The children loved seeing their parents, friends and families out on the street to support their march.
Check out our STEM page to see all the wonderful work that has taken place as part of engineer's week.
Basketball Mini League
5th and 6th ran a basketball mini-league over the last few weeks. Just like the NBA,this was not without its delays and postponements due to covid but we eventually got through the league and managed to play the final off recently.
After an epic battle, which required a replay, Amy-Rose's team came out victorious.
It was great having the pupils learn a new sport and seeing their skill levels develop as the weeks rolled by was a joy to see.
Congratulations Mrs Quinlan!
A budding engineer-Daniel completed his Zoo project just on time. What began from a small plan turned into a vivid array of colour and highlighted the role of imagination in creating and play. Daniel says anyone can make things, and was in awe throughout the whole process of what could be made with very little materials. Maybe this will inspire you to draw up some plans of your own... Have fun :)
