Credit Union Art competition Winners Congratulations to Amy Rose(6th Class) and Aoibhe(2nd class) who won prizes in the Credit Union Art competition. The theme of this year’s competition was Imagination. Amy created a fabulous piece which explored the idea of ‘Kids rule the world’. Aoibhe described her pieces as a collection of doodles of her favourite things. Both girls received gorgeous prizes of certificates and art sets. Amy’s artwork having won first place will be judged in the Credit Union regional final also. Congratulations again, they school are very proud of your accomplishments. This week was rather busy in STT. We had Maths week, our Calendar photo shoot, our Halloween sponsored walk and we also plants daffodil bulbs for spring. Aistear has been in full swing in the Infant rooms also, check out the various pictures on the Infants page. Well done to everyone who participated in all of the fantastic activities that took place this week.

Third and fourth class were busy this week learning about lines and angles. We went outside to make a right angle, an acute angle and an obtuse angle. Juniors have been very busy this week as they have been practicing their fine motor skills and using their pencils markers.
