Christmas is a very special time of the year in our school. We work hard to connect with the community during the whole month of December. A range of events take place to bring the festive cheer into the hearts of all the students, staff and local community.
Christmas Fair
The Parents council hosted a hugely successful Christmas fair again this year. The students created wonderfully festive crafts that were available to buy that morning. Coffee, tea and cakes galore greeted the locals as they visited the School Hall for the fabulous craft fair. for the Parent's Council Christmas Fair.

Carol Service and NativitiyThe talented local choir provided the backdrop for our concert, when the entire school stepped into the spotlight on Decmeber 17th. Infants and First class performed a wonderful rendition of "I want a Hippopotumus for Christmas". Second class recreated the timeless story of the birth of the Baby Jesus, while third to sixth class sang and played guitars, tin whistles and ukeles. The Christmas spirit was truely ignited when everyone visited the local community hall for a chat and a treat. |

Fun and Festivities in school...
First and Second class have had a friendly 'Elf on the Shelf' called Elfie visit their classroom. While Elfie is a friendly fellow, he enjoys playing tricks on Ms. O' Donnell. One day the little elf had wrapped up the Christmas tree in toilet roll, he also likes to steal the sweets from the Advent calendar. Hopefully Elfie will stop tricking Ms. O' Donnell, while he also tells Santa that all of the boys and girls from Scoil Teampall Toinne deserve to be on the good list.
December 8th
Fr. Flynn kindly said mass for the staff and students on December 8th. It was a wonderful time of the year to bless the school and all within it during that mass. Music was provided by fifth and sixth class as they played the tin whistles throughout the mass. Following mass, the youngest and oldest student in the school turned on the Christmas lights in the Crib and on the school Christmas tree.
