We are very fortunate in our school to have a wonderful courtyard in the centre of our school building. As a staff we have decided to repurpose this beautiful space into a outdoor classroom. This outdoor space will be used and developed over the course of our school year but we wanted to share some pictures of our Junior Infant class embracing the space this week. The Junior Infants completed their Aistear work based on the theme of Autumn, They made some Autumn soup, They build a home for hibernating animals like Hattie the Hedgehog in their story of the week. They also practiced making their sounds and animals/face etc using objects they found in the space.
