Congratulations to everyone involved in the fundraiser for Pieta House. Ms. Duggan along with our Amber flag committee and parents council organised a terrific breakfast morning. Every child loved wearing their pyjamas to school and sharing pancakes together.
In total we raised an amazing €298.40. This money will be used to help people in great need. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who generously donated.

Reminder Grandparents Day will be held on April 12th. We'd love if the grandparents could attend. Congratulations to all the second class children who received the sacrament of First Penance last week. The children worked very hard in the lead up to the night and they were excellent during the service. Many thanks to Fr. Flynn for his continued support to the school. Check out the super Infant work on the Subjects page.
Congratulations to all of the staff and children in "Happy Days" Preschool and creche who provided us with terrific entertainment today. We really enjoyed supporting them in their St. Patrick's parade. The juniors, seniors, first and second classes cheered on the senior classes as they played the tin whistles and ukuleles. Thank you to all the parents who supported the children today also. Check out the photographs on the home page. Pancakes and Pyjamas for Pieta was a super success today. All the children enjoyed a trip to the hall where they were treated to warm pancakes and toppings of their choice.
Massive thank you to the Parents Council who went above and beyond for me, both today and leading up to the event. Always so lovely to see such support from the community and it is truly appreciated. Today also marked Tranquil Tuesday. Amidst the Pancake Party the children were encouraged to take some gentle breathing breaks throughout the day. It was lovely and calming. Check out all the pictures from today on our homepage. Congratulation to all the children in third and fourth class who recently completed the Boston Scientific Junior Achievement Programme. Many thanks to Mark McLoughlin, a parent and dedicated member of staff from Boston Scientific who organised and led the program in our school. Children had the pleasure of learning about working in an engineering environment.
Reminder to all parents and students that this is our Amber Flag awareness week. "Pancakes and Pyjamas for Pieta House" takes place tomorrow, all children are welcome to wear pjs or bright clothes in order to celebrate the fundraiser. |
