Many thanks to Conall Kennedy for coming to visit our school today. He kindly gifted Seán English a signed Tipperary Jersey worn in the Semi Final defeat to Mayo. This very generous gift was given to Seán in response to fifth and sixth class writing Christmas cards and congratulations messages to the Tipperary Munster Champions. Conall's brother Coleman also gifted a signed jersey to Cori Slattery. 

From everyone in Scoil Teampall Toinne we wish you and your families a very merry Christmas. We hope everyone is safe and healthy for the Christmas and we look forward to seeing you back in school after the Christmas break. 

Many thanks to all of the families who made donations to the parents council today. The children are very excited to watch the Panto after break. 

Reminder to all parents and families, the links for the school Christmas show will be send to parents tomorrow. We hope that everyone enjoys watching the shows over the weekend. 

3rd and 4th class were busy investigating electricity this week. We spoke about electricity and it’s importance in our lives. We made dazzling Christmas cards by creating a circuit using LED lights, batteries and Copper tape. 

The parents council have put together Christmas hampers for a raffle. Tickets are for sale in the post office. Tickets €2 per strip or €5 for 3. The raffle will take place Monday December 21st after school in the post office.

Also there is a separate children's raffle in the school with lots of prizes to be won, tickets 50c each.

Scoil Teampall Toinne has been quite busy this week. Each class have been preparing for Christmas this week. 5th and 6th class are filming their Christmas performance today. 3rd and 4th visited our wonderful new sensory garden in the village which they thoroughly enjoyed. 2nd class are continuing their practice for their nativity. Juniors, Seniors and first class have been getting into the festive season in their art work, reading and writing. All classes were very excited to hear the winners of the Christmas card competition. The winners cards will be available to purchase from Pat Russell's shop in the coming weeks.
