Sincere thanks to all of the families who contributed to our recent Non uniform day. We are delighted to inform you that we raised €150 for Crumlin Chiildren’s Hospital.
The school calendars were very successful, all of the children participated fantastically and they looked great in the Calendar. We hope everyone enjoys their calendar in the New Year. We are very grateful to everyone who purchased advertisements and calendars. The Parent’s Council’s Christmas raffle has been postponed until January, so we will update you with the winners in the new year. Our Book Fair from earlier the term was supported excellently. We were thrilled to raise over €2000 in credits for our school. We will have a variety of new books in our classrooms as a result of the credits earned through the book fair. Finally we had a wonderful delivery on Friday last. The Clogheen Men’s Shed in conjunction with Tipperary County Council donated a fantastic buddy bench to our school. The bench will be placed on the pupil’s yard. We hope that students will use the bench in a very inclusive way, where it will provide children with a safe place to find a buddy during play time. We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Christmas break and we look forward to seeing you all back in school in January.
