The students of Scoil Teampall Toine have been full of Christmas Spirit this week. They performed excellently in the Carol Service on Sunday evening. The second class performed a wonderful rendition of the Nativity. Well done to all of the staff and students involved.
The Senior Infants wrote letters to Santa, worked in the post office and created a wonderful winter wonderland in their small world area. The Junior Infants enjoyed hot chocolate and birthday cake on Monday. They had great fun creating the North Pole in the small world area. They also created toys in Santa's workshop. The made beautiful Christmas trees and snowflakes as well. First and second class had great fun playing games in the Hall during the week. Everyone was very excited on Thursday when we had a very special visitor to our school. Santa Claus came to visit on the Fire Brigade, he wished all of the children a very merry Christmas and he gave the students lots of treats. Unfortunately he was very stiff getting back onto the Fire Brigade so some of the children had to push him back onto it. Hopefully he won't be as stiff getting in and out of his sleigh on Christmas Eve.
