First and Second class welcomed Mahdee's mum to their classroom this morning. Nilema spoke to the class about Ramadan which will commence tomorrow. The children listened to a story about Curious George and his experiences of Ramadan. The children tasted some special treats which Muslims like to eat when breaking their fast at sunset. The children got stickers and listened to a special song about Ramadan also.

This is awesome, I'm living in a Muslim country and Ramadan is huuuuge! It's the equivalent to Christmas for celebration and prayer, it's so nice to see Bally getting involved and valuing diversity :) Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
