Unfortunately we wont have train shaped toast on Sunday morning but everyone will surely have a wonderful chat and enjoy their breakfast. We are all very excited to attend the Bally Breakfast on Sunday morning.
The Parent’s Council would sincerely like to thank each and everyone who helped out in any way to make last Saturday’s Holy Communion refreshments in the hall a huge success. From all the beautiful home baking, to setting up the hall, serving everyone on the day and the cleanup afterwards.
It was wonderful to see this lovely tradition return and was much appreciated by Parent’s/Guardians and families of the Holy Communion children who visited the hall on the day. It didn’t go unnoticed all the hard work that everyone did with a smile. Thank You. On behalf of the Second Class Parent’s We would like to thank everyone who organized and helped with the serving of refreshments in the hall after First Holy Communion last Saturday. We really appreciated the lovely cup of tea/coffee and the many lovely treats. The excitement in the hall when we arrived was amazing and for each child to get a personalized goodie bag and cookie with their name was just so thoughtful. The countdown has officially begun, the Bally Breakfast takes place in less 13 days. We hope you're all able to make it. :)
School Coach Mark Keane, being left know where the pupil's loyalty lies during training on Friday. :) Up Tipp!!!!
The whole school would like to wish Úna O'Farrell all the best when she lines out for Tipperary Ladies footballers against Limerick this weekend. Well done Úna, well deserved!! Thiobraid Árann abú Hurling trainingToday is the last day of hurling training this academic year. Mark Keane has worked fantastically with all of the children in STT. From the Infants to Sixth class, each child mastered the essential skills of hurling. The older classes fully embraced the chance to refine their skills and play competitive matches. Take a look at some of the pictures of our talented Junior Infants striking and attacking the sliotar during training. Children will begin football training next week. 5th and 6th class were very fortunate to take part in a cycling skills course hosted by member of the Carrick on Suir Cycling club. The children learned about how to be safe on the bike when starting and stopping. They also learned specific hand signals that are necessary for safe cycling on the roads. Hope this specialised skills class will make the children aware of the importance of wearing helmets and taking care on public roads.
Congratulations to Ms. Russell's 3rd & 4th Class who wrote and illustrated a wonderful hard back book entitled "When we grow up". Each pupil wrote a piece about what they would like to be when they grow up, they designed and illustrated a picture of their job also.
